Get to know Madame Pinto :
Chers parents, chers élèves,
Bonjour, je m’appelle Madame Pinto.
I was born and raised in France and went to a well-regarded high school (le collège et le lycée Lakanal in Sceaux) near Paris. I obtained a Baccalaureate in Economics and another one in Sciences. I then pursued further undergraduate studies in Montreal, Canada: a Bachelor in Business from HEC/Université de Montréal, and a Certificate in French Translation from McGill University. I recently graduated from San Francisco State University and completed my Single Subject credential program in French.
I was lucky enough to have worked with students at all levels: elementary through Adult learners. I volunteered /collaborated with teachers at Foothill Middle School (Mt. Diablo Unified); Campolindo and Miramonte High Schools and the Acalanes Adult School (Acalanes); Santiago Canyon College (Orange County), worked at Northgate High School (French II, III, IV, V/AP), in Mt. Diablo, and most recently I was a student teacher at Miramonte High School.
As you might have guessed, I LOVE teaching, and especially French as I am very proud of my heritage. I want you to know that I will do whatever I can do to meet student needs, fulfill your requests and make your child’s learning experience as fulfilling and enjoyable as it can be. Please feel free to come forward or send me an email if you need any assistance.
